Program Manager

Overview

Own and manage engineering programs in the Tektronix Program Management Office, interfacing cross-functionally with Product Line Marketing, Hardware & Software Engineering, Finance, outside partners and vendors to build an agile solution delivery process.

What you'll do

• Own and manage engineering programs to ensure on-time release of products
• Manage and influence stakeholders, including business, product, and development team members, on solution delivery and scope
• Manage a project budget with target and actuals
• Leverage Ralliant Business System tools to implement visual and daily management and appropriate standard work
• Drive improvements in product development processes to increase product quality, program cycle time, and development costs
• Source issues, problems and ideas from developers, and corral teams to come up with solutions
• Ensure development programs have robust plans and resource alignment for execution
• Implement and improve Agile development processes and tools into existing programs and processes
• Escalate resource conflicts and drive resolution with engineering leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and partner with vendors as required by the program

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of Program Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other engineering degree
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget and quality of projects
• Experience in new product development
• Excellent verbal and written communications

Nice to have

• Interest in industry standards for project management
• Implementation history of complex engineering release
• Change agent who is a positive organizational influence
