Project Controller-Architecture and Engineering

Overview

Project Controller-Architecture and Engineering to support architecture and engineering practice, ensuring client projects meet financial, schedule, and performance targets.

What you'll do

• Review performance trends and prepare analysis, cost impact, and monthly project performance reports.
• Track actual and committed costs for subcontractors/vendors against budgets.
• Update forecasts using progress assessed via earned value, project-team discussions, and other tools.
• Establish project budgets from proposal estimates and help with project setup/execution.
• Coordinate to develop Work Breakdown Structures and communicate budget/cost/schedule analysis results.
• Monitor earned value, cost/schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates, and track unbilled/invoicing/aged AR.
• Review client invoices for accuracy and establish invoice schedules based on contract terms.

What you'll need

• BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience in project controls (or demonstrated equivalency).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with teams are required.
• Ability to lead the project controls function for small and large projects across a portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain excellent data quality metrics for forecast end dates and estimates to completion.
• US Citizenship is required for this role.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with engineering, construction management, or related field with 8+ years of relevant project controls experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project planning and scheduling methods and earned value.
