Project Controller-Architecture and Engineering

Overview

Project Controller-Architecture and Engineering to support architecture and engineering practice, ensuring assigned client projects meet financial, schedule, and performance targets.

What you'll do

• Review performance trends and prepare analysis and cost impact reports.
• Recommend contractor invoices for approval.
• Prepare cost reports tracking actual and committed costs for subs/vendors vs budgets.
• Update forecasts using earned value, discussions with the project team, and other tools.
• Establish project budgets from proposal estimates and assist with project setup and execution.
• Coordinate with personnel to develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Monitor KPIs (earned value, cost/schedule performance, estimate to completion, end dates) and report unbilled/invoicing/aged AR.

What you'll need

• BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience in project controls.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with teams.
• Ability to lead the project controls function across small and large projects for a portfolio and multiple project managers.
• Due to project work, requires US Citizenship.
• Ability to read and understand client contracts and subcontracts related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Ability to ensure procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements.
