Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer (Assistant Project Manager – Civil) supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing civil construction activities across project phases.

What you'll do

• Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Supervise civil and structural works and coordinate with MEP, interior, and finishing teams.
• Monitor daily site progress and report deviations in schedule, scope, quality, or compliance.
• Prepare daily progress reports, snag lists, inspection records, and support MOMs and status reports.
• Support cost and procurement activities including quantity take-offs, BOQ verification, and contractor bill checks.
• Support quality control, construction safety, HSE plan follow-through, and closure of NCRs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in civil construction or project management.
• Strong technical knowledge in civil and structural works.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera for scheduling (preferred).
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients on-site.
