Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer supporting the Project Engineering Leader to manage and coordinate engineering activities for successful project execution against safety, quality, delivery time, and cost criteria.

What you'll do

• Issue consolidation of provisional drawing lists and integrate submission dates.
• Plan and manage delivery time for technical interfaces and set up technical interface sheets.
• Ensure on-time delivery of design to stakeholders with suitable quality.
• Assist with day-to-day project engineering management, including change management and quality process compliance.
• Manage scope/design changes and prepare related claims and VO for approval.
• Manage supplier technical interface coordination through definition of requirements to commissioning and as-builts.
• Support sourcing/purchasing on technical matters like vendor selection and scope/interface definition.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience.
• Hands-on experience leading supplier engineering activities for EPC-type High Voltage Transmission Projects.
• Experience in project technical management in multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and products across countries.
• Ability to analyze customer technical requirements for the respective work package and manage technical queries/change.
• Knowledge of technical specifications and supplier documents to enable procurement and detailed design.
