Overview
Project Engineer for airport infrastructure across Civil/Structural, Electrical, MEP, PHE, Drainage, Utilities, Airport Systems, and Finishing disciplines. Responsible for site execution, progress monitoring, quality/safety compliance, and coordination to support timely delivery and handover.
What you'll do
- Ensure work-front availability and achievement of agreed construction progress targets.
- Monitor day-to-day construction progress, quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Review GFC drawings, specifications, method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions to identify discrepancies/clashes.
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities within the assigned discipline with compliance to approved documents.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve delays/constraints, resource shortages, and interface-related bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders for execution and interface management.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Overall 5–10 years of experience in construction supervision & monitoring, project engineering, or infra development in the respective discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience with site execution, work-front planning, testing, commissioning, and handover in the relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of ICAO, DGCA, and applicable airport engineering standards; IS Codes knowledge is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and working with PMC consultants/EPC contractors/airport operators/client-side teams.
