Project Engineering Experienced Professional- Core and Active part

Overview

Experienced engineering professional for designing core, winding, and active parts of HVDC converter transformer and HVAC power transformers and shunt reactors.

What you'll do

• Design core, winding, winding assemblies, and active parts for specified transformer and reactor products.
• Implement engineering process to create project order designs and documents aligned to customer specifications and project cost.
• Run detailed electric field analysis of winding assembly and active part using FEM tools.
• Prepare mechanical design and manufacturing documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, bill of materials) and manage ERP entries in SAP.
• Lead or participate in design review meetings and technical meetings within the team.
• Support in erection, commissioning, and site-related technical matters.

What you'll need

• Ability to apply 2D/3D FEM to electrostatic/electromagnetic simulation (preferred).
• Knowledge of Indian and international standards and codes including IEC, IEEE, BIS, and ISO for design aspects.
• Experience using FEM tools for electric field analysis of transformer winding and active parts.
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP) to create material requirements and requirements entries.
• Experience creating engineering order designs and documents using defined engineering processes.
