Design Engineer

Overview

Design Engineer for CAD & tooling focused on consumable products and associated tooling for the Screens & Feeders product lines.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Translate engineering concepts and product requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Support design and development of consumable components, moulds, tooling, and fabrication/machining drawings.
• Produce complete drawing packages including layouts, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
• Work in ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE for data management, revision control, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams on design validation, tooling trials, and production improvements.

What you'll need

• Strong hands-on SolidWorks 2022 experience in 3D modelling and drafting.
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and design documentation.
• Ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable designs.
• Strong attention to detail and engineering accuracy.
• Experience working in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically 3–7+ years’ experience in design engineering or a similar role.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA (PLM systems).
• Exposure to tooling/mould design and rubber or polyurethane products.
• Exposure to AutoCAD and/or ANSYS (or similar tools).
