Junior Engineer

Overview

Junior Engineer responsible for welding/forming fixture checks and producing defect-free parts while maintaining safety and quality.

What you'll do

• Comply with EHS and Quality System regulations and policies.
• Perform welding of tubes, air manifolds, and sheet metal parts.
• Weld stainless steel and Inconel materials, including repairs of defective castings.
• Carry out welding and fabrication using TIG and orbital welding processes.
• Assemble welded products.
• Read and interpret drawings, manuals, SOP, and related materials to determine the finished product.
• Ensure shift output with high integrity of safety and quality.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in metal forming processes.
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication and welding of air manifolds and sheet metal parts.
• Hands-on experience on press machines (hydraulic and mechanical); hydro form preferred.
• Knowledge of 2D drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to use welding machines and accessories (welding positioners, bevellers, rollers, 3D welding tables).
• Diploma with minimum 2.0+ years of experience in welding and fabrication; AWS D17.1 certification in 6G position for II A & III B materials.
