Project Manager, Planning Solutions

Overview

Provide shared project-management capacity across the Planning Solutions portfolio, owning day-to-day planning, milestones, risks, dependencies, actions and reporting for assigned projects and workstreams.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain practical project plans, milestones and delivery checkpoints.
• Track scope, owners, actions, decisions, risks, issues and dependencies, keeping project information current and reliable.
• Maintain accurate epics, tasks, owners, dates and status in Jira.
• Maintain project documentation, decisions and operating information in Confluence, following shared Planning Solutions delivery standards.
• Run routine project meetings and follow-up.
• Prepare concise project status for stakeholders and programme reporting.
• Escalate risks, blockers and decisions early with clear impact.
• Coordinate activity across Product, Engineering, QA, Data Operations, Research and commercial contributors, ensuring actions have named owners and agreed dates.
• Support testing, release readiness and sign-off activity.
• Identify practical ways to reduce manual administration and reporting, using automation and AI tools appropriately.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of project management, delivery coordination or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting software, data, analytics or technology projects.
• Strong planning, RAID, action and dependency management.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence or comparable tools.
• Ability to coordinate contributors across different functions and locations.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to own assigned projects with appropriate support from programme leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile software delivery.
• Experience coordinating testing or release-readiness activities.
• Experience in data, research, market intelligence or automotive products.
• Experience using automation or AI-assisted project tools.

• Based in Bangalore (Bengaluru), India.
• Hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on business needs.
• Requires sufficient overlap with UK and European business hours; collaboration with US stakeholders may also be required.
