Overview
Python GenAI Developer role focused on designing and delivering software capabilities and building Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock and related AI platform services.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and improve high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure code scalability, maintainability, and optimized performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and integration needs.
- Perform code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement unit testing practices to ensure reliability and readability.
- Lead and supervise a team (or act as an advisor as an individual contributor) and coordinate team resources.
What you'll need
- 3-4 years of hands-on software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with API development, object-oriented programming, testing, and code optimization.
- Hands-on experience building Generative AI applications using LLMs and RAG, including prompt engineering, AI agents, and conversational AI.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Step Functions.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, code reviews, DevOps automation, and agile methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with Bedrock KnowledgeBase and vector database technologies such as FAISS or ChromaDB.
- Experience with React or Angular for AI-powered user interfaces.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized/cloud-native deployments.
- AWS Cloud, AWS AI/ML, or Generative AI related certifications.
