QA Analyst

Overview

QA Analyst on the Arena QA team at PTC, designing and executing tests and automation for new features in cloud-based PLM and QMS software.

What you'll do

• Co-ordinate with product and engineering teams to understand new features delivered as part of each release and design test scenarios.
• Design and develop test cases and automation scripts using a test management tool and automation framework.
• Execute test cases and automation scripts to ensure testing is completed within the given timelines.
• Be an advocate of quality and make sure quality is not compromised during release.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in automation testing, including script designing, framework maintenance and automated test execution.
• Programming in Core Java or Python.
• Test automation and build tools: Playwright with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity, ReadyAPI, Postman, Maven, Gradle.
• DevOps: Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, and AWS / Azure / GCP fundamentals.
• Test management: TestRail, JIRA, Confluence.
• AI tools: GHCP, Claude Code, CLI, MS Copilot.
• Passionate QA evangelist with a strong understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, SDLC and STLC.
• Extensive experience in application testing, including functional, regression, performance and security testing.
• Graduate / BE / B Tech / ME / MTech / MCA / MSc Computer Science with excellent academics.
• 1-3 years' relevant experience in the quality assurance domain covering all phases of STLC.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certified or relevant certification in Quality Assurance.
• Automation framework maintenance and script design using the POM design pattern.
• Experience testing SaaS-based products.
• PLM domain knowledge.
