Overview
QA Analyst role focused on performing quality assurance audit reviews for loans, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
What you'll do
- Complete assigned quality assurance audit reviews on time and in line with SLA.
- Identify key risks in the assigned area and escalate concerns to the supervisor.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor on successes and failures from the QA process.
- Report training needs or opportunities to management.
- Develop procedures and address issues that may hinder accuracy, timeliness, or deadlines.
- Ensure regulatory and operational compliance for loans reviewed.
- Respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely, accurate, professional manner.
What you'll need
- 2–4 years’ experience in operations, operational risk, or risk management.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels, internally and customer-facing.
- High attention to detail.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities to identify root causes.
- Ability to judge situations objectively.
- Ability to prioritize daily activities.
- Experience working in a team environment.
Nice to have
- US or other region mortgage servicing experience preferred.
- Experience in loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or underwriting beneficial.
- Experience working with Sagent/MSP/LoanSphere (BKFS) good to have.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related discipline (Business, Public Policy, Communications, or Public Relations).
