Quality Automation Engineer, API Testing

Overview

Quality Automation Engineer focused on API testing and building/operating a modern API and microservices testing platform.

What you'll do

• Undertake and enable automated testing activities across delivery models.
• Support teams to develop quality solutions and enable defect-free deployments.
• Build and operate a modern API and microservices platform for testing.
• Design automation test strategies aligned to business or programme goals.
• Create and evolve predictive and intelligent automated testing approaches.
• Design and create low-maintenance, stable, reusable automated API tests.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of total experience in quality engineering and test automation.
• Strong experience in API test automation using Java and RestAssured.
• Deep understanding of RESTful services and REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated API testing frameworks and suites.
• Experience creating and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
