Specialist, SAP Test Engineer

Overview

Specialist, SAP Test Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of SAP software through designing and executing test cases. The role includes both manual and automated testing and defect identification, documentation, and collaboration with developers.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed test plans and test cases from SAP requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and security role-based testing of SAP software.
• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and identify defects in enterprise applications.
• Conduct manual testing for complex scenarios that cannot be automated.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with developers to validate fixes.
• Run root cause analysis for issues found in testing and develop corrective action plans.
• Perform post-release and post-implementation testing to validate requirements and specifications.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in SAP testing.
• Experience with SAP modules including SAP FI, CO, Tax, MM, SD, QM, PM, PP, WM, EWM, ARIBA, Concur, Fieldglass, SAP Cloud Commerce, and ATTP – Serialization.
• Experience with SAP APIs, SAP BTP / Integration Suite, and integration testing.
• Experience with SOAP, REST, IDOC, and ODATA integration testing.
• Proven experience with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience with SAP testing methodologies: manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, and load testing.
• Knowledge of quality/testing tools and frameworks including JIRA, XRAY, TOSCA, LiveCompare Analytics, HP ALM, and Load Runner.
