Quality Engineer

Overview

Owns functional test planning and execution for Power Platform solutions, ensuring quality gates are met before release and that defects are tracked to closure.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions.
• Validate custom connector and Azure Functions integrations for functional correctness and error handling.
• Perform functional, regression, and browser/mobile compatibility testing.
• Log, triage, and track defects through resolution; verify fixes before closure.
• Maintain test evidence and ensure solutions meet the agreed Definition of Done before UAT.
• Collaborate with developers and the Business Analyst to clarify requirements and edge cases.
• Support UAT coordination and release readiness checks.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in functional testing (Microsoft Functional Testing is a must-have skill).
• Strong functional/QA testing, preferably on Power Platform or similar low-code applications.
• Hands-on exposure to testing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse-based solutions.
• Understanding of API/integration testing concepts (custom connectors, Azure Functions).
• Experience with defect management and test tracking tools (Azure DevOps/Jira).
• Strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to test design.
• 15 years full-time education is required.
