Job description
Overview
Quality Engineering Specialist to test software products, find defects, and ensure high quality before releases to users.
What you'll do
- Run manual and basic automated tests to find defects and verify fixes.
- Write test cases and test plans based on product requirements.
- Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like Jira/ADO.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Share daily or weekly testing progress and quality updates.
- Suggest improvements to make testing faster and more accurate.
What you'll need
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Experience with AI application testing, including running evals, analyzing traces, and monitoring.
- Good understanding of STLC and bug life cycle.
- Experience with manual testing concepts including functional, regression, and UI/UX testing.
- Basic automation/tool knowledge such as Playright, Python, or JavaScript (plus).
- Education: Bachelor in Engineering, preferably computer science specialization.
