Quantitative Analytics Manager

Overview

Quantitative Analytics Manager overseeing development and implementation of foundation models plus Gen AI and agentic applications across business lines.

What you'll do

• Manage a team responsible for creation and implementation of financially focused quantitative analytics.
• Mitigate operational risk and address compute capital requirements.
• Set scope and prioritize work with consultation from experienced management.
• Develop strategy, policies, procedures, and organizational controls in partnership with model users and developers.
• Make decisions and resolve operational-risk issues to enable business and product outcomes.
• Lead mentoring, talent development, and hiring support for direct reports.
• Design, pre-train, fine-tune, and evaluate transformer-based foundation and SLM models.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of quantitative analytical experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, computer science).
• Experience in AI/ML model development (5+ years).
• Experience building foundation models and Gen/agentic AI applications (2+ years).
• Knowledge of foundation model training methods including pre-training, SFT, and post-training techniques like RLHF, RLAIF, PPO, DPO, and GRPO.
• Experience training and deploying models in cloud environments including GCP.
