R&D Engineer

Overview

R&D Engineer to develop new solutions and improve existing ones for electrical distribution board products, specifically for Low Voltage Enclosures and related components.

What you'll do

• Lead and actively contribute to R&D projects aligned with Agile methodologies and project objectives.
• Develop and optimize mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for Low Voltage Enclosures for innovation and specification compliance.
• Participate in testing and validation to ensure enclosure component performance meets specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards for safety and efficiency.
• Define and validate material requirements, oversee Material Master Data creation, and ensure accurate Bills of Materials.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 5–8 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design.
• Experience with Catia V5 and Creo 8.0 (including sheet metal package) for at least 2/3 years.
• English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
