Overview

Support design, testing, and optimization of manufacturing processes, focused on improving existing grinding processes.

What you'll do

• Design and conduct trials for new or modified grinding processes.
• Collect data and samples and monitor process variables for performance evaluation.
• Identify and address technical issues or deviations during MAE try-out and commissioning.
• Prepare reports and documentation for process development activities and results.
• Optimize processes to improve OEE and support fixture design for quick change and poke-yoke.
• Collect and analyze trial data to make data-driven decisions and troubleshoot process issues.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in the related technology field.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and engineering statistics (Machine & Process Capability) including SPC, GD&T, and MSA.
• Programming knowledge depending on specific technologies (e.g., CNC/vision/press/screw programming, Python).
• Knowledge of CNC, basic PLC systems, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Hands-on grinding knowledge at level L3.
• Knowledge of digital solutions and emerging technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Data Analytics, AI).
