Technical Program Manager, Program Lead Engineer

Overview

You’ll lead a technical, hybrid “translator” role at the intersection of manufacturing quality and AI-enabled transformation. You’ll convert manufacturing/quality rules from engineering artifacts into clear, testable automation and AI requirements, then validate results on the shop floor.

What you'll do

• Define and codify manufacturing and quality business rules from engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, supplier/manufacturing data, inspection records, and CTQ characteristics.
• Translate engineering and quality domain knowledge into requirements IT, software developers, data engineers, and contractors can implement.
• Validate measurement systems and process performance using SPC, DOE, Gage R&R, control charts, and Type I/Type II error analysis.
• Partner with technical teams across the development lifecycle to review logic, handle edge cases, and confirm solutions match real-world requirements.
• Lead AI-enabled process transformation initiatives end-to-end, including opportunity identification, AI vs deterministic automation choice, business case, requirements, validation, and adoption.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or minimum 6 years with a master’s degree.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, process engineering, or digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, SPC, DOE, and Gage R&R/quality systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Minitab, JMP, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, automation, and their manufacturing applications.
