Record to Report Ops Associate

Overview

Record to Report Ops Associate aligned to Finance Operations, responsible for financial outcome tracking through operational data reporting, transaction reconciliation, and standard journal processing.

What you'll do

• Collect operational data reports, conduct analysis, and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare, validate, and post standard journals with correct coding and documented approvals.
• Perform account analysis, investigate unusual balances, and support variance commentary and management reporting inputs.
• Execute assigned SOX controls and maintain evidence, process records, and key-report documentation.
• Resolve routine exceptions, monitor quality/timeliness, and identify standardization/automation/control improvements against KPI targets.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Record to Report.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting concepts including journals, accruals, prepayments, trial balance, and financial statement fundamentals.
• Awareness of US GAAP and SOX controls, including segregation of duties, audit evidence, and accounting-policy compliance.
• Experience with Finance processes.
• (Preferred) Exposure to Yardi or Oracle ERP.
• (Preferred) Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
