Record to Report Ops Associate

Overview

Record-to-Report Ops Associate working on end-to-end general accounting and month-end closing activities, including processing journals, reconciliations, close reporting, and client query resolution.

What you'll do

• Prepare, validate, and post standard/adjustment journals with supporting documentation and approvals.
• Manage and clear open items in transaction accounts; investigate unmatched, duplicate, aged, or incorrect postings.
• Reconcile and clear GR/IR accounts; analyze ageing and process approved corrections or forced clearings.
• Analyze trial balance and general ledger for unusual or incomplete/unbalanced transactions and prepare corrective entries.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including FX revaluation and close checklists.
• Respond to client queries and tickets within agreed SLA/TAT; escalate risks/dependencies promptly.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of relevant Record-to-Report experience for Analyst (or 3 to 6 years for Senior Analyst).
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Sound accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail for accurate, high-volume SLA-driven work.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and deliver within SLA and close-calendar timelines.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Advantageous: exposure to ServiceNow and reconciliation/close tools (ReconSmart, Cadency, BlackLine).
