Overview

Record to Report Ops Associate aligned to Finance Operations, supporting financial outcomes through operational data reporting, analysis, and transaction reconciliation.

What you'll do

• Collect operational data reports, analyze them, and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reconcile general ledger balances to sub-ledgers, bank statements, schedules, confirmations, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate variances and resolve reconciling items with corrective journal entries or other actions.
• Maintain ageing analysis for open items, assign ownership and target dates, and escalate overdue/high-risk balances.
• Ensure reconciliations include complete evidence, commentary, sign-offs, and adequate audit trail.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and balance sheet account reconciliation concepts.
• Proficiency with journal entries, general ledger, sub-ledgers, trial balance, and period-end close.
• Skills in transaction matching, variance analysis, substantiation, ageing analysis, and roll-forward review.
• Any graduation; bachelor’s in Commerce/Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Record-to-Report, general ledger, reconciliation, or month-end closing.
