Record to Report Ops Associate

Overview

Support finance operations through balance sheet account reconciliations, transaction analysis, variance investigation, and period-end close activities.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reconcile general ledger balances with sub-ledgers, bank statements, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Investigate variances and coordinate corrective journal entries or other resolutions.
• Maintain ageing analysis, assign ownership and target dates, and escalate overdue or high-risk balances.
• Ensure reconciliations include evidence, commentary, sign-offs, and an audit trail.
• Support internal and external audits with files, evidence, explanations, and responses.
• Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in reconciliation processes.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Any graduation.
• Understanding of accounting principles, balance sheet accounts, journal entries, general ledger, sub-ledgers, trial balance, and period-end close.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, transaction matching, variance analysis, substantiation, ageing analysis, and roll-forward review.
• Relevant experience in Record-to-Report, general ledger, reconciliation, or month-end closing.
• Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to support global stakeholders and work rotational shifts when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multinational, shared-services, global business services, or BPO environment.
