Regional Sales Manager, Biopharma

Overview

Regional Sales Manager (Biopharma) supervises account representatives to achieve regional sales targets and ensure customer engagement strategies are executed across a defined customer base.

What you'll do

• Supervise account representatives to deliver commercial objectives and execution of customer engagement strategies.
• Set team priorities, monitor performance, and coach the team to improve sales effectiveness, customer experience, and CRM use.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, resolve escalated issues, and recommend workflow/engagement improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to align team activities with broader business goals.
• Drive direct selling operations for large & small molecules to achieve sales targets within budgeted operating expenses.
• Prepare weekly sales and collections projections, visit customers, and ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Monitor collections to keep daily sales outstanding within targets and follow up with customers as needed.

What you'll need

• 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing large teams.
• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc/B.Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Tech (Biotechnology) or MBA (Marketing) (MBA is an added advantage).
• Analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage difficult customers.
• Good market dynamics knowledge and market acceptability/references.
• Interpersonal, listening, communication, and negotiation skills.
