Job description

Overview

Lead workplace operations and service delivery across a defined geographical region of the client’s multi-site estate. Own workplace experience, people leadership, suppliers, budgets, commercial requirements and compliance while ensuring operational efficiency, client satisfaction and service excellence.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Workplace team across the defined geographical region.
  • Own and be accountable for working environments across the region.
  • Line-manage, coach and develop Workplace Managers.
  • Facilitate cross-collaboration, succession planning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure regional resources are appropriate and provide evidenced adjustment cases to the client’s Regional Director.
  • Ensure direct reports maintain measurable Development Plans.
  • Raise non-compliant performance and conduct matters with line management and/or Service Partner Human Resources.
  • Ensure third-party services meet global contract commitments.
  • Govern supplier performance through reviews, contract compliance monitoring, service improvement planning and relationship management.
  • Analyse supplier performance, identifying trends, risks and service improvement opportunities.
  • Visit all locations within the region as required.
  • Maintain relationships with key client colleagues and provide responsive service to remotely managed locations.
  • Implement workplace experience strategies, standards and initiatives consistently across the region.
  • Share innovations with Workplace Managers and the regional Workplace Manager network.
  • Manage the region’s 9-point KPI system and provide management reporting.
  • Monitor operational performance through audits, KPIs, inspections and service reporting, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage minor works and deploy appropriate resources.
  • Keep Workplace Guides for regional locations up to date.
  • Work with the client’s IT team on access and security, visitor management, desktop IT, network availability and reprographics.
  • Use Research & Insight materials and webinars to support continuous improvement.
  • Manage regional costs against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify budget risks and review financial performance for operational efficiency.
  • Manage commercial risk, health and safety, workplace foundation standards, sustainability and Business Continuity Programme requirements across the region.
