Resident Engineer-Quality Control

Overview

Resident Engineer - Quality (QA/QC) for the HEO 240 MW Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh.

What you'll do

• Implement the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and quality standards for civil, tunneling, and structural works.
• Oversee construction material and lab testing for compliance (cement, steel, aggregates, concrete).
• Monitor critical site activities including deep excavation, rock bolting, shotcreting, and heavy concreting.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for quality lapses and track corrective actions (CAPA).
• Maintain quality records including test registers, pour cards, and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with client and contractor teams to secure quality sign-offs and resolve site discrepancies.

What you'll need

• ~8 years of experience.
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience enforcing quality plans, ITPs, and standards across civil/tunneling/structural work.
• Ability to oversee material testing for cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete.
• Ability to monitor deep excavation, rock bolting, shotcreting, and heavy concreting activities.
• Knowledge of NCRs and tracking CAPA for corrective actions.
