Sales Development Representative - Federal

Overview

Sales Development Representative on Zscaler's Federal sales development team, a key contributor to the sales pipeline and revenue growth through lead qualification.

What you'll do

• Research and prospect into organizations by emailing, calling, networking and other creative means to lead early stage pipelines
• Qualify and schedule well qualified appointments with main decision makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies through inbound and outbound leads
• Use the CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects

What you'll need

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Customer-oriented background (sales, support, or customer service)
• Skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, or time and territory management
• Experience in the Federal sector

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM systems (preferably salesforce.com)
• Experience in an outbound-focused sales position
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency

Details

• Hybrid role reporting to the Manager of Sales Development in the Sales Development department
• Requires 2 days a week in the office (Plano, TX, Raleigh, NC, or Boston, MA)
• Base pay range $44,625 — $63,750 USD, excluding commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) and benefits
