Sales Development Representative (Outbound)

Overview

Sales Development Representative (Outbound) for the commercial segment, focused on creating pipeline via high-volume outbound prospecting and qualifying opportunities.

What you'll do

• Generate pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting (cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn, multichannel sequencing).
• Build and maintain your own target account lists using online research, intent signals, firmographic data, and competitive intelligence.
• Meet and exceed activity and pipeline targets (80+ meetings booked and 35+ qualified opportunities per quarter).
• Qualify and disqualify accounts quickly by assessing fit, urgency, and buying potential.
• Deliver relevant messaging to commercial buyers aligned to their business context.
• Partner with Account Executives to hand off well-qualified opportunities and support early deal progression.
• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene (accurate pipeline status, activity logging, and prospecting data).

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of outbound SDR or inside sales experience (preferably in a commercial or high-velocity segment).
• Proven track record of high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting.
• Ability to self-source accounts and build prospect lists independently using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
• Speed and discipline in qualification—identify whether an account is worth pursuing and when to move on.
• Experience with outbound sequencing and sales engagement platforms (Outreach or Salesloft preferred).
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline tracking and activity management.
• Strong verbal communication skills for high-volume cold outreach.
