Sales Engineer

Overview

Sales Engineer responsible for managing technical sales support for cybersecurity products, including pre-sales technical evaluations and post-sales assistance tied to revenue targets.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with sales teams and partners on high-touch pre-sales technical activity.
• Technically qualify opportunities and Proof of Value (POV) evaluations with end-user accounts and partners.
• Create Security Assessment Reports for end-users after POV evaluation.
• Drive end-user acceptance and buy-in to convert POVs to revenue.
• Work with Corporate PM and Engineering to capture forensic information for use in Assessment Reports.
• Liaise between partners/customers and corporate headquarters for technical issues and requirements.
• Aim to exceed assigned quarterly revenue targets and monitor competitive/market developments in the region.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience working in the cybersecurity industry.
• Presales experience with strong technical knowledge in networking and/or security.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Endpoint Protection.
• Familiarity with hacking/exploitation tools and methodologies, malware families, and AV/IDS/IPS evasion techniques.
• Strong technical knowledge across IT technologies and security solutions.
• Experience with IT technologies including OSI model, IPv4/6, routing, switching, DNS, VLANs, SNORT, YARA.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH are a plus.
