Sales Engineer SGS DACH

Overview

Sales Engineer for the DACH region at Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, working with sales reps, partners and end users to configure systems and support sales with technical expertise.

What you'll do

• Work with sales reps, business partners and end users to create systems configurations based on customer requirements.
• Offer product recommendations and run alternative configurations that may present a better solution to the customer.
• Resolve design configuration issues with sales reps, business partners and end users and run revisions.
• Train sales reps and partner engineers on configuration tools and how to use them, and provide pre-sales product training.
• Keep up to date with newly introduced products and maintain product certifications.
• Prepare technical presentations and vendor trainings for partners on products and solutions.
• Provide product demonstrations to show how a product meets client needs.
• Educate partners, inside sales and other technicians on products and solutions.

What you'll need

• Excellent software skills.
• Good team player.
• Negotiating skills and strong communication skills.
• Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology.
• German and English business fluent.
• Driving license and readiness for frequent business travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Citrix, Commvault, Microsoft and Splunk (other equivalent product experience will also be considered).
• French language skills.
