Sales Executive

Overview

Sales Executive role at Otis, responsible for generating enquiries, finalizing orders and managing customer relationships and tenders for elevator and escalator products in the allotted territory.

What you'll do

• Generate enquiries and finalize orders; manage contracts.
• Support sales and marketing functions; perform forecasting and target setting.
• Meet customers, architects and consultants to assess their requirements.
• Develop and increase the customer database.
• Establish product strategy for the allotted territory or account based on market trends.
• Identify and maintain rapport with key persons in major customer organizations.
• Keep customers informed and equipped with product development and literature.
• Conduct market surveys, know competitors, and generate and attend new inquiries.
• Prepare sales negotiation data sheets.
• Prepare and submit model elevator proposals and tenders; attend pre-bid meetings, tender openings and negotiation meetings.
• Follow up on proposals and tenders; negotiate and finalize orders; process orders received.
• Achieve the minimum 90% of the annual target set.
• Push for Gen2 bookings.
• Co-ordinate SIP meetings.
• Ensure customer visits as per guidelines for self and team.
• Ensure professionals are released in line with the expected market.
• Liaise with the Construction Department for effective contract management.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely and mutually acceptable manner.
• Create safety awareness amongst all customers.
