Sales Specialist

Overview

Sales Specialist role within ABB’s Automation Division-B&R, focused on growing sales of machine connectivity, automation and edge, high-end motion systems, and technology software solutions in the southern region.

What you'll do

• Grow sales by developing a sales pipeline in the southern region.
• Build and maintain customer and partner relationships to generate opportunities.
• Analyze customer needs and market trends to deliver tailored techno-commercial solutions.
• Handle negotiations and close deals to meet business targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Promote B&R technologies via customer engagement, industry events, CRM forecasting, and after-sales initiatives.

What you'll need

• 5-10 years of experience in industrial automation sales and solution selling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Extensive experience in automation technologies and application development.
• Demonstrated customer engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with multinational organizations.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency.
