Salesforce Administrator, Federal

Overview

Salesforce Administrator, Federal for IonQ’s Revenue Operations team, owning the health, configuration, and compliance of the Salesforce Government Cloud environment supporting federal business.

What you'll do

• Administer and govern the Salesforce Government Cloud org, ensuring correct configuration and segmentation from commercial orgs.
• Provision and deprovision user access using least-privilege access governance and align to federal requirements (FedRAMP, CUI handling).
• Build enhancements with declarative tools and coordinate managed-package and integration changes within GovCloud constraints.
• Design and maintain reports and dashboards for federal sales, operations, and compliance stakeholders to view pipeline and activity.
• Perform routine maintenance including data-quality management, deduplication, sandbox/release management, and evaluating seasonal updates before production.
• Support Salesforce Shield controls and produce access review evidence required for CMMC, NIST 800-171, and internal audit.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce administrator (or equivalent education/experience).
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Active Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201).
• Hands-on experience administering Salesforce in a regulated/compliance-driven environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person able to handle CUI and work within Salesforce Government Cloud/FedRAMP.
• Strong data-management skills including data quality, imports, and deduplication.
