Overview
Salesforce Engineer working in ClearView Healthcare Partners’ Information Technology team, responsible for hands-on Salesforce platform configuration/development and platform administration/integration/support, plus user enablement and adoption.
What you'll do
- Configure and maintain the Salesforce org, including objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, permission sets, and reports.
- Build new Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs where declarative tools are insufficient.
- Apply Salesforce development best practices including bulkification, governor-limit-aware design, automated testing, error handling/logging, asynchronous processing, code reviews, and source control.
- Manage release management and change control across sandbox and production environments, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Support Salesforce adoption through communication, demos, documentation, and targeted enablement with stakeholders and training.
- Serve as Salesforce subject matter expert for platform and connected tools, including data management, reporting/analytics, user provisioning, and AppExchange applications.
- Support system uptime and troubleshooting by diagnosing issues and coordinating remediation and documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or computer science related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
- 4-7 years of relevant Salesforce configuration and development experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent real-world Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow, and Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, automation design, governor limits, scalability, and security (including OWD, sharing rules, permission sets, CRUD/FLS, and SSO/SAML).
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, release management, testing, source control, and deployments across sandbox and production.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and data lifecycle/retention considerations.
