Principal Software Engineer

Overview

Principal Software Engineer for the Enterprise Solutions and Experience team, focused on Salesforce and Certinia PSA.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce and Certinia PSA solutions.
• Build custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, and platform configuration.
• Configure and extend Certinia PSA capabilities for professional services business processes.
• Develop REST/SOAP API integrations and asynchronous integration solutions between Salesforce/Certinia and enterprise applications.
• Implement asynchronous processing with Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and Platform Events.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release validation, and production support.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot complex application, integration, and data issues.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in software development with hands-on Salesforce platform application development.
• Strong development experience with Apex, Apex Triggers, and Salesforce governor limits.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Experience designing bulkified, scalable Apex solutions.
• Experience with asynchronous Salesforce processing patterns such as Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Platform Events.
• Hands-on experience with Certinia PSA/FinancialForce PSA, including PSA data model and core professional services processes.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, Connected Apps, and Named Credentials.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (plus).
• Certinia PSA certification or significant hands-on Certinia implementation experience.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as Informatica/IICS, MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
