Overview
Salesforce Project Manager responsible for delivery governance and project controls across complex Salesforce programs, including stakeholder communication, risk management, and executive reporting.
What you'll do
- Own and facilitate Weekly Status Reviews (WSR), including agenda prep, minutes, action tracking, and stakeholder updates.
- Lead Steering Committee meetings with executive briefing decks and RAG (Red/Amber/Green) program health presentations.
- Run sprint ceremonies (Sprint Review, Planning, and retrospectives) with coordination using the Scrum Master.
- Maintain RAG status across Scope, Schedule, Budget, Resources, Risks, and Quality.
- Produce weekly and monthly Project Status Reports and manage the project dashboard (e.g., Jira/Smartsheet/MS Project).
- Own project controls documentation including RAID logs, risk matrices, issues register, assumptions log, and decisions register.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles through delivery gates.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of project management experience on Salesforce implementations or enterprise CRM/SaaS programs.
- Strong ability managing RAID logs, risk matrices, and project controls documentation.
- Experience facilitating WSR, Steering Committee, and executive reporting cycles on programs of M+ budget.
- Agile and hybrid delivery exposure, including Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or blended approaches.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platform concepts (clouds, orgs, releases, deployment cycles).
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin/Business Analyst/Project Management app) and/or CSM or SAFe Agilist certification.
- Experience with Copado, Gearset, or Flosum release management.
- Familiarity with CRM Analytics or Tableau for project health dashboards.
- MBA or equivalent advanced business education.
