SDE IV - Backend

Overview

SDE IV is responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering high-quality backend features/components as part of end-to-end product development.

What you'll do

• Own design, architecture, and delivery of a feature, component, or product with high quality.
• Drive ongoing platform innovations and stay ahead of evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship end-to-end product features.
• Provide functional, design, and code reviews within the team and across teams.
• Mentor and coach engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with managers to size and estimate solutions.

What you'll need

• BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) from a premier institute.
• 7-10 years of strong design/development experience for massively large-scale distributed systems/products.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining large-scale cloud systems.
• Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns, including microservices architecture.
• Excellent Java programming skills with multi-threading and performance-oriented programming.
• Excellent data structures and algorithms skills.
• Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
