Securities Operations Associate

Overview

Seeking a Securities Operations Associate to support low-complexity securities operations lifecycle tasks, resolve issues within defined parameters, and help improve processes.

What you'll do

• Handle low-complexity lifecycle support tasks in Securities Operations.
• Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for low-risk deliverables.
• Provide information and collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal/external customers to resolve issues.
• Build expertise across operational processes including settlement services and related reconciliation activities.
• Gather and analyze data to support resolution of operational issues.
• Monitor daily securities and cash production work and resolve low-complexity escalated issues.

What you'll need

• 6+ months of Securities Operations experience (or equivalent via work, training, military experience, or education).
• Minimum 3+ years of Trade Settlements experience with understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Strong exposure to the end-to-end trade lifecycle in Trade Settlements Operations (desired).
• Knowledge of trade matching, confirmation, allocation, reconciliation, and post-settlement activities (desired).
• Experience managing settlement exceptions such as failed trades, unmatched trades (DKs), and break resolution (desired).
• Knowledge of settlement for Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Mutual Fund, or other financial products (desired).
