Securities Operations Specialist

Overview

Securities Operations Specialist role supporting securities operations lifecycle tasks and low to moderately complex trade environment issues, with an emphasis on research, evaluation, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Support low to moderately complex lifecycle initiatives in Securities Operations.
• Analyze operational tasks/challenges requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives.
• Recommend resolutions for low to moderately complex situations in a trade environment.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal/external customers to resolve issues.
• Develop expertise across client account onboarding, cash payments, funding, custodial, settlement, structured loan, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Research business risks and provide input into policies while reviewing time-sensitive documents and transaction requests.
• Monitor daily securities and cash production work and support project and process implementations.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of Securities Operations experience (or equivalent via work/training/military/education).
• Independent judgment for low-to-medium risk deliverables.
• Experience requirement for EMEA: securities operations experience (or equivalent via work/training/education).
• Desired: 7+ years of Securities Operations experience.
• Desired: experience in trade processing and clearing/settlement operations.
• Desired: strong product knowledge across Equity, Fixed Income, and Mutual Funds.
