Senior Analyst - Procurement

Overview

Senior Analyst in Procurement to process purchase orders accurately in a fast-paced environment, support vendors and internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

What you'll do

• Issue purchase orders to vendors on time, follow up for order confirmation and coordinate on-time payment to suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors on the actual delivery status of material.
• Complete the Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report on time for review.
• Execute core procurement processes efficiently and accurately for assigned products.
• Meet or exceed service levels and inventory targets defined for assigned products, validated through procurement metrics.
• Coordinate with Internal Business Partners (requestors) and suppliers on Purchase Order changes.
• Select suppliers for new orders in accordance with approved purchasing strategies.
• Manage the supplier database.
• Identify, recommend and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Perform root cause analysis to expedite resolution of service issues.
• Prepare customized reports to analyze and incorporate process improvements.
• Should we include shortage/excess escalation management, coordinate and follow through on urgent receipts, past dues management and receiving challenge resolution.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduate.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Mandatory knowledge of computer software applications: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (mandatory).
• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.

Nice to have

• Procurement or supply chain experience.
• Experience in order processing, supply chain management, order management or end-to-end procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP (preferably BAAN).
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably electronics.
