Senior Analyst, Software Sourcing

Overview

Support software sourcing and category execution by partnering with stakeholders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, and data center agreements.

What you'll do

• Execute category strategies for assigned software categories.
• Develop RFx opportunities and track category performance metrics.
• Analyze spend patterns, contracts, bids, and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Evaluate, negotiate, select, and qualify vendors.
• Negotiate SaaS, cloud computing, master services, licensing, and statement-of-work agreements.
• Manage complex SOWs from creation through approval and escalate matters to legal when needed.
• Partner with stakeholders on requirements, change management, and demand forecasting.

What you'll need

• 5–6 years of experience working on software contracts, including SaaS, cloud, data center, and software licensing models.
• 3–4 years of global sourcing experience.
• 4 years of demonstrated people-management leadership experience.
• 2–3 years of sourcing transformation experience.
• Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert negotiation, communication, analytical, and project-management skills.
• Experience with commercial agreement structures, contract drafting, and contractual terms.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Procurement certification such as PMP, CPSM, or CSCP.
