Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for scalable backend services, data pipelines, integration endpoints, and distributed systems supporting AI-driven internal workflows.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable backend services, data pipelines, and integration endpoints.
• Gather requirements, write design documents, and lead technical discussions.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from requirements through maintenance.
• Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and other observability capabilities.
• Communicate progress with product leads, engineering managers, and stakeholders.
• Navigate ambiguity and proactively remove project roadblocks.
• Provide and respond to technical and behavioral feedback.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of industry experience in backend development.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in senior positions.
• Experience developing distributed web applications at scale.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL database modeling.
• Experience using and designing RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, and productivity optimization.

Nice to have

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience with GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, microservices, or machine learning.
