Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

Overview

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling reliable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver features.
• Architect and build scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs with robust error handling.
• Improve system performance and developer experience through automation and refactoring.
• Diagnose complex issues and identify technical improvements.
• Contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Document technical decisions, systems, and processes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and scaling web services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with relational databases and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AngularJS or React.
