Senior Business Analyst

Overview

Senior Business Analyst supporting Rubrik's subscription renewals business by providing forecast clarity, scoring renewal growth and retention likelihood, customer analytics, and retention action plans, working closely with Sales and Renewal Ops.

What you'll do

• Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly opportunity pipeline analysis, validate data, and identify gaps and required actions
• Identify process automation and improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to drive these initiatives
• Communicate regularly on business and team performance, making recommendations based on analysis of key performance areas
• Act on behalf of leadership, e.g. drive global churn forecasting, identify direct and channel renewal improvements, and evolve forecasting mechanics to incorporate customer health insights
• Support the development and presentation of business outcomes to stakeholders, e.g. churn and upsell attribution
• Provide critical business insights to Customer Success and Sales leadership, identify issues, recommend action plans and execute
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in performance, process, automation and data accuracy
• Generate regular and ad-hoc business analysis for Renewals and Sales leadership to monitor performance across key business drivers and Renewals team performance, including direct and partner renewals
• Compare business performance against defined KPIs to identify trends, share key learnings and drive new operational programs
• Analyze data to determine whether a customer is "At-Risk" and ensure early engagement
• Analyze customer data to reduce churn and identify root causes of churn

What you'll need

• 6+ years overall professional experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL, CRM (Salesforce), Clari, Excel, and Business Intelligence systems such as Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with data analytics and modelling, and ability to work with a degree of independence on data analysis
• Experience identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to attribute key business drivers
• Experience analyzing complex business problems using data and providing actionable insights to customer-facing teams
• Self-starter with outstanding problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of juggling multiple projects and deadlines and driving them to completion
• Strong business acumen, excellent collaboration and stellar communication
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

• A Bachelor's degree in an analytically rigorous field of study
