Senior Consultant – Technology Risk & Internal Controls

Overview

Senior Consultant role focused on Technology Risk & Internal Controls, supporting client and internal audit/advisory engagements with IT control testing and compliance review.

What you'll do

• Independently execute detailed IT control testing for access management, change management, IT operations, and system interfaces.
• Identify and document key IT risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities across enterprise systems and cloud environments.
• Analyze and articulate the design and effectiveness of automated controls, system configurations, and data flows.
• Prepare clear documentation and workpapers aligned with firm and regulatory standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with business, risk, and technology stakeholders.
• Contribute to client deliverables summarizing observations, root causes, and mitigation recommendations.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in IT internal audit, risk management, or consulting.
• Basic understanding of IT controls, IT SOX, SDLC, and IT governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools including Microsoft Excel, Workiva, Audit Board, Archer, Teammate, or ServiceNow.
• Chartered Accountant, MBA, CMA, or bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
