Senior Consultant – Workday HCM, Integrations & Functional Configuration

Overview

Senior Consultant to configure, enhance and support Workday HCM, reporting and integrations, independently managing functional and technical requirements and engaging senior business stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Configure, enhance and support Workday Core HCM, Core Compensation, Absence, and Talent – Performance Management.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports, calculated fields and integrations using EIB (inbound/outbound), RaaS, WQL and integration security.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, production issues, and business process or security-related challenges.
• Support Workday releases, regression testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to gather requirements, clarify business needs, recommend solutions and manage expectations.
• Own requests end to end, including requirement analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, documentation and resolution.
• Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies and timelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a Workday Senior Consultant.
• Expert level: Core HCM.
• Expert level: Integrations, including EIB (inbound/outbound), RaaS and Integration Security.
• Expert level: Advanced Reporting.
• Expert level: Core Compensation.
• Expert level: Absence Management.
• Expert level: Talent – Performance Management, Promotions etc.
• Strong hands-on experience in Workday functional configuration and integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including confidence engaging senior business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of solutions from requirements through delivery.
• Strong collaboration, documentation and expectation-management skills.
