Senior Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Own technical customer success across the Veeam Data Platform, driving onboarding, adoption, optimization, resilience, renewals, and expansion for enterprise and commercial accounts.

What you'll do

• Configure customer accounts, backup policies, and storage.
• Lead onboarding, stakeholder orientation, and success planning.
• Design protection plans and recommend Veeam architectures.
• Run recovery simulations and deliver quarterly resilience reports.
• Identify churn risks, migrations, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Engage CISO and CIO stakeholders with technical and risk recommendations.
• Own technical success plans and adoption roadmaps with Sales and CS leadership.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Hands-on expertise in operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting, automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R.
• Experience designing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification, which may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert certification.

• Remote work is available only to employees located in Italy.
• Account assignments typically cover 5–50 named enterprise and commercial accounts.
• Compensation range: €63,000–€117,000 EUR, including target compensation.
