Senior Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist defining and executing Finance data strategy to deliver trusted, AI-ready enterprise data for analytics, automation, and decision-making.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the Finance data strategy aligned with Finance and enterprise transformation priorities.
• Establish data governance for trusted, standardized, AI-ready data across Finance and partner functions.
• Build Finance data architecture, critical data domains, enterprise data models, and standardized business definitions.
• Set up data quality, metadata, and lineage frameworks and monitor adherence.
• Partner with IT, BI, Enterprise Data, and business leaders to align data priorities and address cross-functional data issues.
• Drive data literacy programs for Finance users and manage governance adoption and maturity.

What you'll need

• 4-year/graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline (or commensurate experience).
• Typically 10+ years of experience in data architecture, strategy, policies, governance, and driving analytics or related work.
• Experience with data architecture, policies, and standards.
• Experience with data governance.
• Knowledge of data lake technologies and cloud services including Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and skills in Python, R, and SQL.
• Skills in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling.
